One of the New York State's Office of Mental Health facilities is the Central New York Psychiatric Center. New York Psychiatric nurses will have the opportunity to serve at a 210 bed maximum security inpatient facility. It is the only state facility where male and female patients may be involuntarily hospitalized pursuant to Section 402 of the NYS Corrections Law.
